A major part of our iPad auditing tool is the web based portion. Using NimonikApp.ca, you upload your checklists, manage your users and see your audit results. Last night, we added a number of much requested features.
Better Importer
One of the most requested features has been an easier way to upload your checklists. We are happy to announce an easy importer for all of your checklists. To learn more or to upload your checklist, click here to see how to upload your audit list.
Company Templates
Prior to this update, you could only have lists tied to specific facilities. Now you can upload company templates and share them with your colleagues. If you had existing checklists in the site, they have automatically been converted to company templates. There are now 3 types of audit lists in your account:
1. Lists specific to a facility
2. Lists for just your company
3. Lists that are publicly available
To upload a company template for use by you and your colleagues, log into your account at NimonikApp.ca and go to the checklists page here.
The EHSQ Audit Reporter has just been updated with Dutch translations, small visual improvements and a couple of much requested features.

We are very happy to announce a small upgrade to the hugely popular EHSQ Reporter for iPhone and iPad to perform audits and inspections at lightning speed.
The updates are small, but meaningful. We believe in simple and elegant products and we are constantly polishing our work. Here is a list of the updates and expect an even larger update in September. We hope you are enjoying the app and please send us comments and feedback so we can continuously improve it.
The app is now available in Dutch, many thanks to Mike from the Netherlands for the translations.
Quick Findings
You can now add your own Quick Findings for audits as well as delete the ones that come with the App by default.
Audit Findings
You can now set your the statuses for your audits – use a rating system (1,2,3,4) or possibly a non-compliance wording for compliance audits, it’s up to you!
Horizontal Notes
You can now takes notes in Landscape more on your iPhone, makes for faster typing.
Delete Media
You can now delete photos, video and audio recordings you have taken related to your findings.
Support Page
A new and improved support page in the app with tutorial videos, text and links to more resources. Hopefully this will answer most of your questions about this easy to use app.
Nimonik is very happy to announce that Jonathan Brun will be presenting at this year’s Auditing Roundtable Conference in Philadelphia on September 7-9th.
The conference is entitled EHS Auditing in the 21st Century and Jonathan will present the advances in tablet and touch based devises and how they will affect auditing in the future. Specifically,
Jonathan will speak about how integrated touch devices are a radical change from stylus based devices, allowing auditors to better meet downward pressure on costs through efficiency. In addition to ease of use, touch based devices with high quality cameras can both improve audit speed and create richer and more dynamic reports for their clients, increasing the delivered value of the contract.
This is shaping up to be a fantastic conference and we encourage anyone in the EHS auditing world to make the trip, send jbrun@nimonik.ca to meet up at the conference and talk shop. Jonathan will be presenting September 7th at 10AM.
