Common Questions
My register is incomplete or out-of-date, how do I proceed?
Contact us so we can take a look at your current register and get you a quote to update and maintain it. info@nimonik.ca
How does the 30-day free trial work?
If you cancel a paying plan within 30 days of signing up you will not be charged a thing. You are responsible for charges already incurred prior to your cancellation. We do not issue refunds and do not pro-rate months.
Do I pay per user?
No. You can have as many users as you like, free of charge.
Are there different types of users?
Yes. You can have two types of users: Account Administrators and General Users. Account Administrators can edit registers, delete comments of their colleagues and change account settings. General Users can add comments and notes, but cannot delete items or change account settings.
What are facilities, registers and how do they work?
With a corporate or SME plan you have the ability to create facilities. A facility should represent an operation you have; under each facility you can have three things:
- A legal register
- An Aspect-Impact register (for ISO 14001)
- Relevant documents such as permits, certificates of approvals, corporate standards and other items.
For SMEs who want to test the legal register functionality, we offer a free template that you can use to get up and running quickly.
If you have many separate, but similar facilities, you can create “shared registers” which can be seen and used by multiple facilities. Contact us with your questions.
Where is the data hosted?
The entire site is located on our secure servers, backed up every day. You access the site with usernames and passwords. We do not offer installations on local intranets – this is to lower our management costs and offer you a better value proposition.
Can I change plans at any time?
You bet. Simply click on the Account link in NIMONIK and you can upgrade or downgrade accounts.
What about my data?
It is your data. You can export your legal register and other data at anytime.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and automated Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). If you wish to pay by invoice or issue a P.O., we require a one-year contract and upfront payment.

Do you offer discounts for long-term engagements?
Yes. The amount varies with the contract and plan, contact us to discuss the possibilities.
What about the Territories?
Territories are billed as provinces and we offer content in all three. We left them out of the table for simplicity sake.
